In partnership with local Islamic schools in Quezon Province, Jumeirah Estates awarded scholarships to 20 outstanding madrasah students, supporting their pursuit of education and personal growth.

Education has always been a cornerstone of Islamic values. The Quran repeatedly emphasizes the importance of seeking knowledge, and as a company rooted in these principles, Jumeirah Estates believes that community development extends far beyond building homes — it includes building futures.

The Scholarship Program

The program was developed in consultation with madrasah administrators and community leaders across Quezon Province. Twenty students were selected based on academic merit, community involvement, and financial need. Each scholar received a comprehensive package that covers tuition, school supplies, and a monthly allowance for one academic year.

The selection process involved interviews with the students and their families, ensuring that the scholarships would reach those who would benefit the most. Priority was given to students from barangays near the Jumeirah Ville development, reinforcing the company's commitment to its immediate community.

The Awarding Ceremony

The scholarships were formally awarded during a ceremony held at a local madrasah in Tagkawayan. The event was attended by school administrators, parents, community leaders, and Jumeirah Estates management. Each scholar was called to the stage to receive their scholarship certificate and supplies package.

Several of the scholars shared their dreams during the ceremony — from becoming engineers and teachers to aspiring to serve their communities as Islamic scholars. Their stories served as a powerful reminder of why programs like this matter.
