Our Beginning
The Jumeirah Story
Born from a vision to provide Filipino Muslims with dignified, ethical housing options, Jumeirah Estates emerged as a pioneering force in the Philippine real estate industry.
The concept of Jumeirah Subdivision was conceived when our founders recognized a significant gap in the market—millions of Filipino Muslims without access to halal financing options for home ownership. Traditional mortgages, laden with interest (riba), conflicted with Islamic principles, leaving many families unable to pursue their dream of owning property.
Inspired by successful Shariah-compliant developments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, particularly Dubai's Jumeirah district known for its luxury and Islamic heritage, our team embarked on a mission to bring this model to the Philippines.
Today, Jumeirah Subdivision stands as a member of the Ver Dev't Corporation, leveraging decades of real estate and construction expertise to deliver world-class developments that honor both Islamic values and Filipino aspirations.

Company Founding
Jumeirah Ville was officially incorporated as a subsidiary of the Ver Dev't Corporation, with a clear mandate to develop Shariah-compliant real estate in the Philippines.
Shariah Board Formation
Established our Shariah Advisory Board comprising respected Islamic scholars to ensure all financial models and contracts comply with Islamic principles.
Land Acquisition - Tagkawayan
Secured prime coastal land in Tagkawayan, Quezon Province for our flagship development, Jumeirah Ville.
Jumeirah Ville Development Begins
Groundbreaking ceremony held for Jumeirah Ville with community leaders, investors, and Islamic scholars in attendance.
Land Acquisition - Iligan City
Expanded our footprint to Mindanao with the acquisition of highland property in Iligan City for Jumeirah Heights.
Jumeirah Heights Pre-Selling
Launched pre-selling for Jumeirah Heights with overwhelming response from the Muslim community in Mindanao and nationwide.
Continued Growth
Both projects progressing on schedule with active sales. Exploration of additional sites across the Philippines to expand Shariah-compliant housing options.

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Mahmoud Abdelmoniem is the Chief Executive Officer and a financial expert with over 15 years of experience in real estate development, investment management, and corporate governance. As Chairman and CEO of Ver Development Corporation, he leads the company’s overall direction, strategic planning, and business growth initiatives. He is also the Founder of Jumeirah Ville Subdivision, the first Sharia-compliant certified subdivision in the Philippines, reflecting his commitment to ethical and sustainable real estate development.
Renezel “Jamila” Arizala
President & Managing Director
Renezel “Jamila” Arizala serves as the President and Managing Director of Ver Dev't Corporation. She oversees the company’s daily operations with strong leadership, strategic direction, and hands-on management. Known for her dedication and organizational expertise, she ensures smooth coordination across all departments and drives the company’s mission toward sustainable and client-focused real estate development.
Michael “Ahmad” Arizala
Board Member & Marketing Manager
Michael “Ahmad” Arizala is a Board Member and serves as the Marketing Manager of Ver Development Corporation. He leads the company’s marketing initiatives, brand development, and promotional strategies. With his creative vision and commitment to excellence, he plays a key role in expanding the company’s market reach and strengthening its brand presence
